For that romantic getaway, getting in touch with nature or just getting away from the hustle and bustle, Over the Rainbow is the place to be.... Set in eighteen acres of woodland and meadow, the 'twitchers' amongst you can experience the rare red kite in flight and the hoot of the resident barn owls. Foxes and badgers roam the woods after dark, as well as bats and other nocturnal wildlife. Here you can watch the stars and listen to the silence.

For those who want a more active holiday, the Ceredigion heritage coastline can easily be explored on foot or by bicycle. Bikes can be hired locally from New Image Bicycles. We can provide you with local walking or cycling maps, and a picnic for the day, enabling you to take in the sights at your own pace.
This is also a perfect base for visiting the recently restored National Trust property Llanerchaeron; the colourful seaside town of Aberaeron; Devil's Bridge; the Rainforest and Butterfly Centre, Cenarth Falls, the Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran, or the many public gardens, antique shops, galleries and craft centres in this peaceful coastal county.

The beaches of Cardigan Bay are famous for visiting bottle-nosed dolphins, porpoises and seals. Over the Rainbow is a few minutes away from several blue flag beaches including Poppit Sands or Tresaith where you can enjoy a lovely pub meal and watch for dolphins at the friendly and popular Ship Inn.
There are coastal walks along the Pembrokeshire coast path or the Ceredigion coast path, walks which take you to delightful National Trust beaches at Mwnt, Penbryn and Llangrannog.

Over the Rainbow Wales serves vegetarian food, using organic, local and fairly traded goods wherever possible. Food is served in our spacious dining room, overlooking the lawn, or guests are welcome to breakfast outside. Continental breakfasts are served during the week, full breakfasts at weekends.
Packed lunches and a flask can be provided if you are going out walking for the day. Evening Meals are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. Please give at least 24 hours notice.

Enjoy the use of the guest library which have comfy sofas TV/DVD and a log fire. The library has books and games for all ages, maps and guides to local walks, information about local tourist attractions and a payphone (some mobile networks are unreliable in this area).
Children are welcome, there is a high chair and cot available. You are also welcome to bring your well behaved pets, by prior arrangement. Certain rooms are not suitable for pets - please see 'rooms' page and booking terms & conditions, or contact us for further information.
There is a drying room for your use and a laundry service can be provided for a small charge. Bicycles can be safely stored on the veranda. There is ample parking for up to ten vehicles.
