The combination of spacious, comfortable bedroom accommodation and ground floor public rooms at Over the Rainbow make this an ideal venue for:

You can hire either the entire house exclusively on a residential basis, or you can just hire the meeting rooms.

For meetings and workshops you can use the ballroom and library at the front of the house with views across the countryside.

The BALLROOM is in the front wing of the house. Added in the 1820’s it was built to entertain the local landed gentry of Cardiganshire. It is a light airy space, of approx 60 sq metres with high ceilings, a sprung wooden floor, good acoustics and French doors opening onto the lawn.



The room can be cleared of furniture for dance and movement workshops, 12 is the maximum the ballroom can accommodate comfortably for this type of workshop. Or, the room can be set up with tables and chairs for meetings, seating 40 in a lecture style set up, or 16 in a classroom or boardroom set up with desk space for each person. White walls enable you to utilize data-projection should you need this facility for your workshop.



The LIBRARY can be used for meetings in addition to the ballroom. This room has lovely views across the countryside, comfy sofas, a roaring wood burner, TV and DVD player. There are also books and games for all ages; maps and guides to local walks and cycle routes.

Arrangements for hiring accommodation at Over the Rainbow are flexible and can be tailored to best meet the needs of your event:

• For residential events or workshops, you can hire the whole house an exclusive basis for your group of nine or ten people; with or without catering.
• On the other hand, you can just hire the workshop space; then either you or individual members of your group can book overnight accommodation to suit their needs.

Several groups come back each year to Over the Rainbow for a get together in a relaxed and homely atmosphere. If you have a group of up to nine or ten people you can hire the house exclusively for your group; either B&B or full board whichever best suits your group.

GOING OUT? you and your friends can enjoy peaceful coastal walks, relax on the quiet and clean Cardigan Bay beaches or hire a boat to go dolphin spotting.

STAYING IN? challenge your friends to a quiz, a game of Scrabble, Mah-jong or Trivial Pursuits in the library or you can simply curl up with a book or a DVD by the log fire. Wi Fi access available. I can also arrange a morning yoga session or a massage if you need to undo all those knots.



Served in our spacious dining room overlooking the lawns, all food offered at Over the Rainbow is freshly prepared, vegetarian home cooked fayre. We can also cater for vegans or other special diets. Supplies are sourced locally, organic and fair-trade wherever possible; we always try to serve something a bit ‘different’.



Catering can be provided for group holidays, workshops and meetings:

• Fruit Juice, coffee and a variety of teas are available in the dining room throughout the day for workshops and meetings. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in all bedrooms.
• Picnic tables are available in the gardens for your use.

Over the Rainbow is a registered venue licensed for 40 people to attend the ceremony, to be held in the ballroom. For your ceremony, you can:

• hire the ground floor public rooms for the day;
• extend your celebrations into the evening;
• or hire the whole house exclusively for the entire weekend for you and your guests.

Using local, fair trade and organic produce wherever possible, our chef provides quality vegetarian catering, ranging from a tasty buffet to a fabulous four-course meal.
